Antlia LRGB-V PRO SERIES filter
ANTLIA LRGB-V Series Pro filters are designed for monochrome cameras using CCD and CMOS sensors. Suitable sensors include KAF/KAI sensors, Sony IMX sensors, GSense sensor manufacturers and other sensors.
The LRGB-V Pro assembly is designed to approximately equalize the RGB flux response of red-sensitive CCD detectors. The result is that you get 1:1:1 to 1:1:1 RGB exposures for the benefit of simplified post-processing and reduced imaging time.
The new LRGB-V Pro series filters operate a carefully designed spectral space between the green and red channels to minimize the effect of light pollution and provide high transmission of useful frequencies.
The design of the filters optimizes the capture of the details of the faintest galaxies and nebula emissions. The LRGB-V Pro Series filters guarantee the high transmission of the OIII band in the B and G filters (Signal OIII > 95% in blue and green).
The B-channel bandwidth is narrowed in an effort to improve blue channel spillover (haloing) around the star due to B-channel overexposure. ANTLIA LRGB-V Pro filters Block the emission line around of 589nm by designing a wide gap between the G and R filters, which removes much of the light pollution from high pressure sodium and mercury lamps and results in a more natural color balance. Uniformity of substrate thickness provides good refractive performance over all prior filters.
LRGB-V Pro series
- Premium coating technology and finely polished substrate Their quality selection processes are optimized to ensure highly consistent glass substrates. Their application of advanced optical coating technology and double-sided precision polishing ensures both consistent parfocal and optical performance across all filters.
- Maximized color balance and contrast for each of the three RGB channels and dozens of coating layers are deposited on both sides of the glass substrate which enables LRGB-V Pro filters to achieve high SNR. Anti-reflection coatings and carefully designed spectral spaces minimize unwanted light scattering and maximize useful signal data for each filter channel.
- Tighter star profiles and halo reduction The cutoff frequency of the LRGB-V Pro series is designed at a high level to minimize halos around brighter stars and reduce star puff. Our careful design of blue channel transmission characteristics targets the problem of blue blue bloat.
