Bien que ce laser soit encore à un prix abordable comparé aux hauts de gamme, il s'avère être d'une efficacité redoutable et bien plus précis que la moyenne des lasers du marché.

Ideal even with very fast telescopes
Astronomik MaxFR emission line filters are suitable up to very fast focal ratios. The new Astronomik MaxFR series of narrow band emission line filters are ideally suited to the demands of astronomical deep sky imaging with fast optical systems. For the three most important emission lines of oxygen (OIII), hydrogen (H-alpha) and sulfur (SII)
The new MaxFR filters are manufactured in a whole new way, designed to work perfectly with fast optical systems. The well-known integrated MFR coating technique gives you the best possible out-of-band blocking over the entire wavelength range, from UV to IR!
The advantages of this new design are extremely high contrast, minimized flare, no halos and sharp stars. Astronomik MFR narrowband transmit line filters give you the best signal quality.
Imaging with narrowband emission line filters
If you have to observe from light-polluted sites (like most of us...), imaging with narrow band emission line filters is the best way to take great images, because any type of light pollution can be blocked very effectively! Normally an H-alpha filter should be your first step into this amazing field of astrophotography! With a narrowband H-alpha filter, you'll be able to take deep, high-contrast images even with very strong light pollution or with the full moon high in the sky!
If you look at other astrophotographs, an H-alpha is the best choice for all glowing nebulae! An OIII filter expands your imaging possibilities, as you are able to image all greenish/bluish structures. Planetary nebulae and star forming regions are good targets! SII filters complete your HSO filter set. With these three filters, you can process your images like those from the Hubble Space Telescope!
