Uranus-C is (IMX585) camera developed by Player One Astronomy, which adopts the newest Sony IMX585 1/1.2” format color sensor. The 2.9um pixel size accommodates a well depth of 38.8Ke with a total of 8.3MP (the resolution is 3856*2180), and the diagonal is 12.85mm.

ASKAR FRA400 APO
Askar presents a new refractor, currently the most sold of the quintuple series, the FRA400 72mm; is a tool suitable for astrophotography.
Thanks to the air-spaced quintuplet, it provides a flat field up to 44mm diagonal without the addition of additional flatteners/reducers.
This new and enormous APO guarantees color correction at the highest level thanks to a precise and manic construction of Sharpstar; the image is not affected by any chromatic aberration and remains very sharp and well contrasted.
The FRA400 bezel is ASKAR's flagship of the 400mm, you will not find a product with the same characteristics at a lower price!
Improved mechanics
The very precise mechanics guarantee a universal application in all astronomical fields and an extreme satisfaction of use.
In addition to the improved optics, the FRA400 also offers improved mechanics that leave nothing to chance, this way the performance of this APO can be fully exploited even in astrophotography.
FPL53 air-spaced apochromatic quintuplet with multi-coating on each optical surface, this makes the optical quality very good and no chromatic aberration even at maximum magnification.
The lens of this APO is composed of an air spaced triplet also composed of elements supplied by the famous Ohara (Made in Japan), in fact the central element is composed of Ohara SuperAPO-FPL53 ED glass.
The state-of-the-art optical design enables precise optical correction over the entire wavelength range.
ASKAR quality control
One of the reasons why ASKAR refractors are very famous and of very high quality is their quality control, in fact, interferometric and optical tests are carried out on all APOs, making the work carried out by these instruments impeccable.
ASKAR 3" rack and pinion focuser with integrated rotator
This refractor uses a brand new ASKAR 3 "focuser, with built-in 360° rotatable to always keep the camera in the right position, thanks to the Rack & Pinion system, the focuser can support very heavy loads without any problem twist.
The 1:10 reduction mechanism provides precise focusing and ideal for astrophotography.
Speed increase to f/3.9
The focal ratio of f/5.6 is already relatively fast. But often, we want even faster optics. With the optional AS72REDcorrector/reducer, you can increase the speed from f/5.6 to f/3.9, cutting exposure time in half.
The focal length is shortened to 281mm.

Arrivée le matin, première sortie le soir même ! Je suis carrément épaté par la qualité de cette lunette et des résultats ! L’achat de l’année ! C’est une petite merveille !Seul bémol: livrée avec une queue d’aronde trop petite. Impossible d’équilibrer la monture avec un setup astrophoto. Commande d’une nouvelle queue d’aronde plus large et plus longue pour un montage sur EQ6R.
La résistance est indispensable pour tout instrument disposant d'une optique sur le devant. Directement exposée à la buée, même avec leur pare buée, une résistance chauffante va légèrement réchauffer l'optique pour empêcher celle-ci de se déposer.
