ASKAR 65PHQ APO

The 65PHQ is a newly launched corrected astrograph after 80PHQ, 107PHQ and 130PHQ. Instead of buying extra Corrector, adjusting Backfocus and making a tedious connection to get nice thin stars in the corners of the image, astrophotographers can simply equip it with all possible imaging accessories, make sure the focus is sharp, then the whole optical system is perfect for imaging.

Small and light

The 65PHQ has a smaller size than other PHQ astrographs. it has an F/D ratio of f/6.4 and a focal length of 416mm. Instead of the quadruple structure of other PHQs, the 65PHQ is a quintuplet with two ED glasses that provides excellent control of chromatic and other aberrations.

With its self-flattening design, the 65PHQ offers strong advantages in astronomical shooting.
It supports a full frame image circle and has a fine dot pattern with tiny peripheral star distortions.

Equipped

The 65PHQ comes with a telescopic sun visor, a high quality CNC machined and painted tube.
It weighs only 2 kg, the complete set with tube rings etc. weighs 2.8 kg. The 2.5 inch rigid focuser comes with a new type of 360° rotator.
M68, M54 and M48 camera adapters are also supplied, and the M48 adapter has a 2" female thread for installing filters.
 
It is also an excellent choice for visual observation. It can even be used to observe planets with a very high magnification eyepiece.

The 65PHQ features a multi-functional handle, a 300mm dovetail plate and sturdy double tube rings. It is small in size and light in weight, which perfectly meets your viewing and shooting needs.
