The Sharpstar 50EDPH has a 70mm Vixen-style dovetail plate, which slotted 1/4-20 threaded holes, making it not only adapt to most equatorial mounts but can also be mounted on a tripod for use.

The Sharpstar 50EDPH has an optional 0.84x reducer that can be chosen, the 0.84x reducer can bring the Sharpstar 50EDPH's focal ratio down to f/4.6. This is a standard reducer with field flattening capabilities as well. The 50EDPH's reducer supports the APS-C frame, The 0.8x reducer is equipped with an M48 adapter and comes with a built-in M48*0.75 2" filter thread for direct filter mounting.
