Celestron C11XLT

The Celestron C11 offers high light-gathering capability in a rugged aluminum optical tube. The 11" SC optical tube provides excellent high-contrast views and can operate at very high magnifications. Fastar Technology

With Fastar technology, the secondary mirror of the SCT can be removed and replaced with the HyperStar (sold separately) so that a CCD camera can be used in front of the telescope at the f/2 focus of the instrument's primary mirror . The potential of the Fastar system is staggering: exposures are 25 times shorter than if the camera were placed at the native f/10 focus of the instrument. Astrophotographers can capture galaxies and nebulae with exposures as short as 30 seconds.
