Dew sheild for SC/RASA with notch for 11" - Celestron

The Celestron DX Fog Shield is an essential accessory for protecting your optical tube outdoors. It prevents the formation of condensation on the blade and limits stray light, improving your observations and photography. You can use the DX Mist Guard on your Schmidt Cassegrain, EdgeHD and RASA (with single dovetail) optical tubes measuring 6‘ and 8’ for ref. C 94018 and 9‘ and 11’ for ref. C 94016.
Design

The DX Mist Guard has been designed specifically for Celestron optical tubes to ensure a perfect fit. Made from durable, flexible yet strong polyethylene plastic, extra reinforcement has been added around the tube attachment area to ensure a perfect fit for the optical tube. A layer of felt on the inside absorbs stray light and excessive humidity, creating optimum contrast for viewing and shooting. The cut-out for the dovetail slot has been designed to accommodate 4’ wide dovetail rails to strengthen the connection with the optical tube.

The DX Mist Guard can be easily attached and adjusted to your optical tube using Velcro straps.
