Construction

The aluminum dew shield fits perfectly on Celestron tubes. The dew shield is a rigid, warp-resistant aluminum cylinder with a velvet interior to absorb stray light and excess moisture, creating optimal contrast during your observations and photography. Two adjustable clips allow you to perfectly fit the dew shield to your telescope tube.

The protective cover is also made of aluminum to be durable yet lightweight. When your telescope is not in use, place the cover over the dew shield to protect your slide from stray dust particles. The protective cover also allows you to easily create evenly lit (FLAT) surfaces.
