Electronic polar finder: stop crawling under the mount forever! Thanks to this accessory, you can easily and with great precision carry out the polar alignment of your mount on the screen. The electronic viewfinder has a camera. It shows you the position of the north celestial pole on your laptop or PC and where the polar axis of your mount is pointing. Just align the two points using the mount's azimuth (orientation) and latitude (horizontal) adjustment screws - period!

The position of the north celestial pole deviates slightly from the position of the pole star. The electronics calculate the exact position from the date and time. Thanks to the sensitivity of the camera and the large field of view, the polar alignment is successful even if the mount is not correctly achieved that globally.

It also works in the southern sky! In addition, at low latitudes, atmospheric refraction is taken into account.
