This lengthening raises the 20cm ZWO AM5 mount above the tripod on which it is mounted, thus avoiding the risk of collision of the optical tube with the legs of the tripod during the movements of the frame. Light (only 1.6 kg), machined in a quality aluminum alloy, it can support up to 50 kg of load. The assembly is very simple: just tighten the central tripd screw and then install the frame.

Compatibility

In addition to being adapted to the ZWO TC40 tripod, the PE200 extension is fully compatible with tripods from other brands such as the Ioptron and Sky-Watcher EQ5/HEQ5 models (1.75 "steel feet in diameter) and the model Celestron for Advance VX mount (2 "diameter steel feet).

The extension can still be reduced by replacing the full aluminum intermediate structure with 3 optional stems, type PE160.
