The visual effect of these eyepieces with their long eye relief and 82° apparent field of view is truly an intense experience. Your eye is relaxed, allowing you to easily use the averted vision technique to study faint detail across a huge field of view. The 82° series eyepieces come with a rubber eye shield that rises to the desired height for observer comfort and as experienced astronomers know, visual comfort is key when trying to observe at the visual limits of the telescope. In order to keep internal reflections to a minimum, all internal surfaces of the eyepiece pipe are matte black, as well as the edges of the lenses to minimize light scattering into the lenses.

All 82° series eyepieces are fully multi-coated and edge blackened to produce maximum contrast.
