Description

TS Extension for the Baffle Tube of RC Telescopes

The aperture tube of the RC telescopes is calculated very generously. However, when using larger sensors, stray light can get past the secondary mirror and through the baffle tube towards the camera. The result is ring-shaped or arc-shaped brightening, which can only be eliminated by a FLAT.

This extension made of matte black filament extends the baffle tube and thus prevents stray light from entering. The image field is illuminated more evenly.

Attaching the extension is easy, it is inserted into the baffle tube from the front and holds by itself. The extension itself is ultra-light and if attached carefully, the collimation of the RC will not change. You can start photographing immediately. The extension can remain on the baffle tube.
