Description

Everything you need to know about the ZWO EFW 5x50.8mm filter wheel

This motorized filter wheel allows you to position 5 filters in front of your camera and change them quickly using a computer (or the ASIAIR control box). The very thin design (20mm of backfocus) of this filter wheel makes it possible to place the filters as close as possible to the sensor so, when used with an ASI6200 (with filters at 50.8mm flow) the filter-sensor distance is only 18mm .

Its motor consumes very little electricity, which means it can be powered directly by USB via your camera. This ZWO EFW2 filter wheel works with all software on the market via an ASCOM driver. High quality CNC machined aluminum construction (numerically controlled machine), NPM stepper motor made in Japan.
