This motorized filter wheel is compact and with less than 400 grams (without filters) also light. One USB2.0 port is sufficient for power supply. The maximum power consumption is approximately 150 mA. so you can connect the USB cable directly to the USB2.0 Hub of ZWO ASI cooled cameras.
The distance between the filters and the sensor is only 10mm, so there will be no vignetting with open telescopes, even when using an ASI1600. If you use unmounted 31mm filters, you can even use lenses up to f/2 without annoying vignetting.
The ZWO EFW is perfect for creating L-RGB and false color images with monochrome cameras.
The filter wheel offers 7 filter positions - ideal for L-RGB filters + three nebula filters.
