Asiair Pro is a micro-computer controlled by WiFi via a smartphone/tablet application to manage your entire astro-photography setup. It is equipped with a USB hub, integrated electrical management and a multitude of fixing mode.
Asiair Plus is the third generation of this microcomputer, the first models of which were released in July 2018.
High -end finish
The Asiair PLU box is made of aluminum machined by CNC and red anodized of the most beautiful effect. The case measures 100x70x26.5mm and weighs only a few hundred grams, which makes it thinner by 24% and 13% lighter.
Of a "Ferrari" red and provided with its engravings of the constellations of the large and the small bear the ASI Air Pro has an inimitable look.
It is provided with 2 M4 threads and a 1/4 thread says not Kodak facilitating the integration of the box in your equipment.
Multiple connectors
The Asiair Pro is equipped with an electrical management system allowing to supply up to 4 12V equipment via DC5.5x2.1mm sockets placed on the side of the case. It also has a 2.5mm Jack type socket to control the intervalometry of the APN boxes.
Based on a Raspberry Pi4, the Asiair is provided with an RJ45 Ethernet output and 4 USB sockets, including 2 USB 3.0 thus accepting a more important data transfer as well as a much more powerful processor thus giving the possibility of using Always more advanced calculating algorithms such as helping the development by calculating the HFD (half -flux diameter - the diameter in pixels which contains half the energy of the image of a star).
Asiair Plus also has a micro-SD card reader and USB-C socket, for rapid data transfer.
