TS 0.8x image field corrector for the 80 mm f/7 SD Apo

The SD apochromats from Teleskop-Service offer an image without chromatic aberration through the use of two special glasses in the 2-element objective. Now we offer a corrector and reducer for astrophotography, which was specially designed for this objective and allows very good photographic results. The corrector reduces the focal length from 560 mm to 448 mm and improves the focal ratio from f/7 to f/5.6. The correction is even suitable for full-frame sensors. However, a FLAT is required to counteract slight vignetting. The illumination is very good up to APS-C.

Connecting the corrector to the telescope:

The corrector is screwed directly to the focuser via the M63x1 thread. This ensures optimum hold and the best possible illumination. Even with heavy cameras, there is no risk of tilting.

Connecting the camera to the corrector:

The corrector has an M48x0.75 thread on the camera side. The working distance from this thread is 55 mm. This allows you to easily connect almost all cameras. Suitable T-rings are linked. If you unscrew the camera adapter, you will find an internal thread for 2" filters.
