The SkyWatcher Star Adventurer offers various combinations to meet all your astrophotography and time lapse photography needs. It is a high precision, portable and stable celestial tracking platform for sidereal, solar and lunar tracking with automatic DSLR shutter control.
The Star Adventurer can attach to any standard tripod via its 1/4" or 3/8" adapters.
This version comes with the Alt-Azimuth adjustment base. Latitude can be set by simply adjusting the tilt of your tripod head to achieve precise alignment.
You will be able to adapt your camera using a classic tripod ball head (not supplied) or using the L-shaped support provided in the kit. The dovetail L-bracket, used in conjunction with the counterweight bar, also allows small telescopes (such as a small 60mm refractor) to be used.
The Star Adventurer can also be used for visuals with small glasses like a 60 or 70mm. This combination will allow you to observe or photograph the sky wherever you go.
A new WIFI Module
This new version of the Star Adventurer is equipped with a wifi module capable of controlling your camera using a connected cord and allows you to program a series of shots.
It also allows remote adjustment of the different tracking modes.

Power Priority
The Star Adventurer is powered by 4 LR6 AA batteries. However, you can use an external micro - usb power supply (such as mobile phone charging batteries) which will take priority over battery power.
